Christian Ehrhoff Re-Signs

As stated earlier on We Bleed Teal (yeah we've got insider information) Ehrhoff has re-signed for three years at $3.1 million per year. Check out our earlier article to get a full breakdown on where the Sharks go from here.

Go Sharks.

Boooo!!!! Why don't people see the same thing I do when they look at Christian?? He is good when defending the entrance to our zone, but that's it. He is out of position constantly, he takes horrible penalties at exactly the wrong time, and he has the offensive capabilities of a pile of dirt. I hoped that once Ronnie was gone, this teacher's pet would be put into the back row of class, if not thrown out altogether. Oh well.

I agree with his offensive capabilities being dirt, but I think he improved drastically on the defensive side of things this last season. He was the second blueliner for ice-time (behind Poopy, er, Soupy) and improved his shot blocking ability.

3.1 M is a little too much for my liking, but with the price of free agents this year (especially D-Men) I understand where Wilson is coming from.
