We're A Second Period Team. Sharks WIN.

Pavelski sure is a cute lil' sonuvagun ain't he?

Game wrap up will be posted at Hockey Primetime as soon as I get it up (Viva Viagra! Did you know watermelon might be a natural Viagra? Score one for the fruit industry). In fact, this sentence may be deleted by the time you refresh your browser. Or I'll just link the wrap up here. I'm undecided as to what I want to do- sort of like Elton John in the 70's. With that in mind, score another one for the fruit industry. This time in the late 80's.

Sharks looked like shit the first period, too many turnovers in the neutral zone and in our own end. But whatevs. I need to write this HPT article, and I can't swear over there so I'm taking it out on you guys. Poo-poo. Buttface. Toilet breath. I know, it's pathetic.

Good flipping win tonight. I like this team. I would like them if they were 0-3 (sup Anaheim!), but I really like how we fought back tonight after a lackluster first.

I'm never going to address the Patty prediction (except I just did). Consider this the moment when I decide to get the Ace of Spades tattooed on my inner wrist. Think Edward Norton in Rounders. Except I'm in better shape than that scrub.

Everyone's in a good mood when we win.

Go Sharks.

Okay, I went to that game spur of the moment. Let me say: one of the best decisions of my life.
The first period was a rocky start for me, with all of the turnovers in the BlueJacket's zone. But it was definently more intertaining and intense than The last Kings game.
During the break I was a little pissed, but I knew we could pull it off. What bothers me though is seeing them play on their heels when we had so many chances.
But saying that, the second period nearly made me cry. With the goal from Cheechoo, the team rebounded with awe inspiring power. I mean yeah, Murry got his stick in at the wrong time seconds later, but they stayed strong. And then decided to get 3 more goals.
What I like about McLellan is that where Ron would have probably told the team that yesterday would have been a take it easy day, when you're not playing a hard team, you need to rest for the next game.
But with Todd, I can see him using this chance when playing a "weaker" team to score as much as you can. By attacking the team and showing them everything you have.
It's going to take the Sharks a while to adjust to the new level of intensity that McLellan has them play at, but I'm not complaining if this is the outcome.
Concerning Patty though, I bet he scored those 2 goals after he read WBT, glad that the pressure to score was gone. So you know what Patrick? Continue with your not scoring ever!

Go Sharks!

Comment on the clip. 39 seconds in cracks me up cuz the camera guy gets deeked out - Is it just me or does it bug you when everyone outside the Sharks' organization pronounces it Nab-a-cough. Or is it just me, the president of the special Will organization that says Na-baw-cough?
